When Asians shift to a Westernized diet—including red meat and processed foods—their risk of developing cancers, particularly colorectal cancer, may increase. (1)
"Cancer does not run in my family, so I'm fine" is a misconception.
Of colorectal cancer patients, 65% do not have a family history of cancer.
Cancer develops due to the influence of genetics and environmental factors.
