ピロリ菌検査
ピロリ菌感染は胃がんの最大のリスク要因の一つです。
アメリカでもPCP（Primary Care Physician）に相談すれば、血液・便・呼気によるピロリ菌検査を受けることができます。
感染があれば、保険で除菌治療が受けられる場合もあります。

日本での検診
一時帰国時に日本で人間ドックやがん検診を受けることが現実的な選択肢です。
費用はかかりますが、数年に一度の検査で安心を得られるケースも多いです。

Consult PCP
You should consult your primary care physician (PCP) about the fact that Japanese people are at high risk of developing stomach cancer.
⚠️ Pay attention to the differences from Japan!
Japanese people are considered to be at high risk due to genetic and dietary factors. However, because the incidence of stomach cancer is relatively low in the United States, stomach cancer screening is not generally conducted for the general population.

Endoscopy or X-ray and barium swallow examinations are recommended every two years for men and women aged 50 and over.
