Career:

Yukio graduated from Asahikawa Medical University School of Medicine in 2008 and completed his doctorate at Yokohama City University Graduate School in 2020 (Construction of Health Behavior Theory on Cancer Prevention).

He has worked in Japan, mainly at university hospitals and general hospitals in Yokohama and Sapporo, and has been responsible for multidisciplinary treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, and palliative supportive care in many cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancer patients.

He is certified as a Doctor of Medicine and has board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist and advisor, gynecologic oncologist, women's health care specialist, cytology specialist, and certified laparoscopic technologist.

He is a visiting fellow at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Yokohama City University School of Medicine.

 

Role at FLATjp:

NPO planning and management, support for gynecological cancer patients, promotion and awareness of women's health care, cancer prevention awareness

 

Hope for FLATjp:

"At FLATjp, we hope to contribute to the well-being of Japanese people living in the U.S., mainly from the perspective of supporting gynecological cancer patients, promoting women's health, and preventing cancer. We would like to create a community like "FLAT" where Japanese people can gather casually and casually."
