In 2020, I was diagnosed with uterine and ovarian cancer and went through surgery and chemotherapy. Many of my friends helped me my cancer journey. I hope that my experience will help Japanese people in the U.S. who are suffering from various illnesses, including cancer, and I hope that I can pay it forward with the supports I receive from my friends.
