Reasons for the high risk include:

1. Pylori* infection

(*Bacteria that live in the stomach increase the risk of stomach cancer.

There are many infections among Japanese people.)

2. Diet

(Consuming too much salty food, which is commonly used in Japanese traditional food, may increase the risk of stomach cancer.)

3. Genetic factors
